Tanjong Beach
Well the rains did take a break on this Sat morning (and returned in the evening :p) and I took the chance to go to Sentosa to enjoy the island life with a group of friends, most of whom I'm meeting for the first time. Tanjong Beach is the most secluded of three beaches at Sentosa, and it was safe enough to leave our things under the hut and swim out to the small island (see picture). The water on the small island was warmer and clearer! Just the perfect reward for the hard work. This is the first time I swam out to an island and it was really fun! I always thought it was dangerous, but it's not when you are not alone. I had less stamina and made it there and back just three times. Now nursing a moderate sun burn on my face.

Wow! What a good form of exercise and whats more its free of charge! Or perhaps no.. i forgot that entering sentosa require admission fee... plus the trip to the beach will be more than what u are paying in a public swimming pool! Ya by the way who are those new friends of yours... perhaps your students? Its good to have a tanned since you look so fair..maybe more sunlight to make you look tanned a bit more!
Hmm, secluded beach, is this where people go to have a quiet night to .......
They are jogging enthusiasts, and hehe....unlike me...haha, all are marathon runners and have good physiques leh...
Admission fee is only $3, and the beach is free of charged. Its quieter than Siloso beach, you know, the one Keppel had its carnival last year?
KC, next time you or AL come to sg, we can go to this beach and party at KM8? Its a beach pub. Or Cafe Del Mar along Siloso beach. Its from Ibiza, Spain.
